About Mateo Properties
A settled home base for the academic year
Mateo Properties provides premium student accommodation for students at Vaal University of Technology (VUT) and Sedibeng College. We have around 200 beds across furnished single and shared rooms.
Our residences are run with one goal: give students a secure, quiet and practical place to live so their energy goes into their studies. Each building has controlled access and CCTV. Backup power and gas stoves mean load-shedding doesn't stop dinner or exam prep.
NSFAS-funded and bursary students are welcome. Our leases follow NSFAS standard rules and there is no deposit to find before you move in.

Pets are not allowed at any Mateo Properties residence. This keeps our buildings clean, quiet and comfortable for every student, including those with allergies.
